I’d love to do a bit of a reflective comedy sketch about the things I definitely did not be expecting to do working in museums and talk a little bit about the diverse roles in museums and how one thing can very much lead to another very quickly. Especially, around the concept of trying new things, saying yes to opportunities that seem a little different and making the most of the experience.

Hi! I have a potential set themed on Museums: A Matter of Life and Death. I've worked in Learning teams throughout my career, but moved from teaching about live animals in zoos, to stuffed ones in museums. In discussing the advantages (stuffed ones don't move!) and disadvantages (... stuffed ones don't move!) of each, I'll also contrast their conservation missions - are museums about saving the past, and zoos saving the future?
